Rare pair of Gunnar Flørning pelicans, designed in 1959 while visiting the zoo with his daughter.
The pelicans became part of a wooden animal series for the Danish manufacturer Laurids Lønborg. Flørning himself declared them as napkin holders.
These two are made of solid beech wood, partly black lacquered.
